[Dead Frontier: Night Two]

Meh

This would have been cool if it was an over-the-shoulder shooter, but instead it's just like all the other sidescrolling overview shooters on newgrounds.

It's not a sidescroller - it's top down.

If you're the kind of person that parses judgement on a game totally based on whether it's 3D or not then your review is not worth taking notice of.

It was cool

I liked it, the whole finding clues thing was pretty awesome. Although the story kinda confused me, I didn't exactely get why he did it.

Have you played Episode 1 and 2? They are necessary to understand the big picture.
Moreover, you probably didn't have them fresh in mind... so yeah, it can be confusing ;)
